Tools What Tools Will I Need To Replace The Filler Valve Mechanism In My Toilet?

What tools will I need to replace the filler valve mechanism in my toilet? - tools

I borrowed some tools and instructions are not with me. I wonder what are the tools I need to replace the valve core and filling in my bathroom. Thank you very much.

A pair of slip joint Channellock at least 1 1 / 2 open "(one and one and a half inches) to the water pipe under the toilet after you remove it off the shutoff valve (also called" angle stop) in the wall and remove the large nut sacks over the bath with the filling valve in place. And a knife to cut the pipe is too small, black cut pipe. Do you have a bucket and rag in hand. When you install the new valve to cast all get shook hands, then use the Channellock pull a little more. Rinse in water supply for the bath, then the valve on the wall in the form slowly, and then the toilet, after that it serves the function of control and leakage Replace. I like 400 Fluid master fill valve ... easy to install, simple to use, etc., costs about $ 8.

You can change the fill valve with a couple of blocks of channels, perhaps a screwdriver to perform this task.

You must fill valve. If you do not know to do so with the installer-Man.

A wrench and a vise or two pairs of pliers to do for you if something unusual.

A wrench or two. The filling valves are made of plastic / PVC, so no push over. And NO, you need a screwdriver, because it does not adapt scrwes. Close the valve on the first and use water Remon wet vacuum cleaner tank after washing.
